Manage bookings as Customer (Self-Serve)

Your customers can create, reschedule, or cancel bookings online from your website and manage their own appointments.

Customers can book, reschedule, or cancel their appointment online from your booking page. They can also manage changes from the links in their confirmation/reminder messages

Create a booking (customer)

  1. Open your online booking page from your website

  2. Select the service they want

  3. Choose an available date and time

  4. Enter their details (name + contact info)

  5. Submit the booking

  6. They receive a confirmation message with the booking details

What happens next

  • The booking appears in your booking dashboard automatically.

  • The customer can keep the confirmation for reference and future changes.

Reschedule a booking (customer)

Customers typically reschedule in one of two ways:

  • From a reschedule link inside a confirmation/reminder message, or

  • From their customer booking details (if provided)

Typical flow

  1. Open the reschedule link

  2. Select a new date and time

  3. Confirm

  4. They receive an updated confirmation and the booking updates in your dashboard

Cancel a booking (customer)

Customers can cancel using a cancel link inside their confirmation/reminder message (if enabled).

Typical flow

  1. Open the cancel link

  2. Confirm cancellation

  3. The booking is marked cancelled and your schedule updates automatically

Important notes (so expectations are clear)

  • No login is usually required to reschedule/cancel when you use direct manage links in notifications.

  • You can set rules like a minimum time before cancelling (e.g., customers can’t cancel within X hours of the appointment).

  • Even if customer self-serve is on, you’re always in control — you can manage bookings for them from your dashboard at any time.
